At Plein square, located in the heart of The Hague, our meeting room offers you a light and welcoming ambience. Equipped with air conditioning as well as a free to use coffee corner with fresh beans coffees and cappuccinos, teas and fresh water, and a wi-fi internet connection.

And it is more than a simple meeting room. Our space is impressively flexible, thanks to the on-size-made-tables, it can be easily turned into a working space, as well as a classroom, even the meeting table layout can be adjust for different number of people or different needs!

Furthermore we can offer you the option of catering right to your table, providing you sandwiches, soups and salads to keep you going, everything hand made by Café Berger.

Besides a wi-fi internet connection, the room features a 49” presentation screen, a video conference set, a glassboard, and, on request, a projector is available.

Corona protocol
For the safety of our clients, we have drawn up a corona-protocol where you can find additional information regarding the hygiene and safety measures adopted, as well as other features regarding the meeting room, bathrooms, and shared areas of the building.

During corona we accept reservations for meetings, workplaces or courses up to a maximum of 6 people. You are required to fill in a registration form with contact information of all attendees in advance.

Right in the center of The Hague, at the Plein, at a stroll distance from the Central Station, our meeting room is housed in the attic of a characteristic building, on the third floor, offering you a cozy view on the Plein.

The space can hold up to 12 people*. You’re welcome to check it out for yourself ahead of time to make sure it is exactly what you need and even to start planning your event. You may visit any time, Monday through Friday, as long as the space isn’t being used by other guests. Just let us know the exact date and time you’d like to come by and we will make it happen.

In order to meet the needs of all customers, we thought to make our space as flexible and functional as possible. Now we can offer you a space that can be turned into a meeting room, as well as a classroom or a working space. You may even rearrange the furniture during the event to fit your needs.
* Due to the corona measures, and in order to guarantee the safety distance, at this time, we accept reservations for meetings, workplaces or courses up to a maximum of 4 people.

A mobile 49” TV equipped with Google Chromecast, HDMI cable, a remote control camera, a service computer and a sound bar, is available for presentation, video meeting, or whatever you like. A white glassboard with colors, and pens and papers, are at your disposal. On request we can also provide you a projector. This last one is not included in the rental price and has a price of 50 Euro (excluding VAT).

Coffee, lunch and aperitif
The space is equipped with a cozy and functional coffee corner that offers you fresh beans coffees and cappuccinos, teas, fresh still and sparkling water. For lunch and aperitif we work with Café Berger, which is located on the ground floor of the same building of the meeting room. We can then offer you the option of catering right to your table (if you like you can even book your catering lunch while you book the meeting room) or you can just walk down and enjoy your lunch in the café or in the cozy terrace of Café Berger at the Plein. And in that case, the bill for your lunch will be added to the invoice, so you don’t have to worry about it!

Our meeting room is located at the Plein, in the heart of The Hague, at a stroll distance from the Central station, tram and bus stations, is very easy to reach and convenient whether you are travelling by public transport or by car. At the Plein there are plenty of cafés and restaurants you can choose from for a nice lunch or a cozy aperitif, as well as many different kind of shops.

Booking system
We manage our bookings via Microsoft Bookings. To open the booking page click here or on one of the ‘book now’ buttons located in this webpage. As you open the page, first click on the rental option you want to book, then choose date and subsequently the time. You have to select the starting time even if there is only one option.
Subsequently we ask you to tell us if you want to use the beamer. Finally we ask you to tell us if you want to book the lunch. In case you do, you will be soon contacted by our staff in order to arrange your lunch.
Please fill in all the fields so we can offer you a good and functional service.

Cancellation policy
All Bookings are subject to De Zolderkamer Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for bookings cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to the event start time. From 24 until 12 hours prior to the event start time you will be charged by the 50% percent of the due payment. Later than 12 hours prior to the event start time until you will be charged by the 100% percent of the due payment.

Host Rules
As well as our space, we want to be as flexible as possible, so we will always try to meet your needs. At the same time we kindly ask you to leave the room on time, especially because there might be other guests later and we need to make it ready for them. So the general rule is that the space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. A little overtime, only if possible, won’t be a big deal, otherwise it will be billed in hour increments at a price of 100 euro per hour.
Cleaning is included to any booking. Nonetheless we really appreciate that guests leave the space tidy and clean.
Please take care of our space and all furniture and equipment so we can keep offering the same rate to customers like you. Kindly refrain from using tape, sticky tack, nails, screws, staples or penetrating items on our walls.
Smoking is not allowed in the space.
There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not artificially ventilated.
